Graphic Novels are a part of a section of reading that combines the two major senses that any thinking man can use, that of sight and that of reading and thinking. This is the reason why graphic novels form such an intriguing and interesting part of the population of books. Here we give you a top ten list of the best graphic novels of all times.

1. Watchmen: This had to top the best 10 list of graphic novels for being a part of one of the most successful series of graphic novels. The series is about a group of superheroes that won the hearts of millions and based in New York it still remains one of the best graphic novels of all times.

2. The adventures of Tintin: This too had to be part of the top 10 out of its sheer popularity within a reading audience of all age groups. Created as a series of comics by the Belgian artist Herge, the plot revolves around the mysteries that a young Belgian reporter solves book after book.

3. Sandman: This series of graphic novels are known as an epic series and the plot of which revolves around the Land of Dreams. Highly intriguing, endlessly profound and interesting, this is a series that no doubt is among the top 10 of all times.

4. Miracleman: This series of graphic novels was actually revolutionary to this genre and thus we could not but put it into this top ten list. Originally known as Marvelman, you cannot but love this crime fighting series.

5. Maus: This is another graphic novel that reaches epic proportions because it tells a survivors tale of the Holocaust and told through the perspective of a Polish Jew. This unforgettable graphic novel is certainly one of the best in the top 10 graphic novels of all time.

6. Ghost World: This series of Graphic novels set in the 1990 s achieved the epitome of the 90 s popular culture by following the daily lives of two witty teenage girls who explore life and growing up. The best perhaps in dark comedy ever written.

7. The Greatest of Marlys: This too had to be put into the top 10 list for a specific reason, for capturing the life of an eight year old so well that anybody from all age groups can be addicted to it; even though it is supposed to be a children s book about life.

8. Fun Home: This graphic novel is actually one of the most menacing in the list, and is basically a memoir of the author s childhood and relationship with her father. From themes of suicide and sex, this is far from a comic book.

9. The dark knight returns: This of course is a part of the Batman series of graphic novels, but it could very well be one of the best loved in the series. This deals with the middle aged batman returning to fight crime.

10.Jimmy Corrigan, the smartest kid on Earth: This graphic novel, among the more recent ones is all about imagination and how even middle aged, awkward persons too must never run out of it.
