The hardware and the software part of information society are just the means and methods for communicating but the essence of communication is in the content. The games, videos, graphics and animation are just embellishments of the content but the essence of content is in the power of the written word. Content writing therefore is the most important aspect of the Information Age.

In the internet marketing, content is king. There might be articles written and stuffed with so many keywords that would direct traffic to a website. But without good content, all you have is traffic but the bounce rate is high. This means that people would just surf for a while then immediately go away from your site. Thus you have sacrificed quality for quantity. To put it bluntly, you might have increased traffic to your site but may not necessarily have increased the sales. Without quality content writing, a lot of your efforts may have been put to waste. What we need is good quality content writing that would eventually tantamount to quality traffic to your website and would eventually end up in higher revenues. Again the key here is content writing. Quantity is important only if it supports quality. There must be a healthy combination of quality content writing with quantity to be able to get optimum results. In the end, it is all about the magic of the written word.
