This is because of the the heavy crowds and intense security the Olympic Games will know doubt bring to Vancouver.

Although it can be fun to explore Canada with a guided tour, one can also explore even more of the natural beauty of Canada using a self-guided tour. Also, many bookstores and libraries offer information on travel and tourism in Canada. So, check out the local bookseller or library to find a tour guide that is appropriate and useful for anyone planning a Canadian vacation.

So, browse local bookstores or go online and find the one that covers the areas in Canada in which one wishes to travel. Then, check online to get an idea of what the area is like and look for travel brochures regarding the region. In doing so, one can find out about local events, lodging, restaurants and shows with reviews written by other travelers. To this end, one can then travel knowing their way around Canada and the best tours and travel which fit their needs once inside the borders.
