A holiday sets your mind free and rejuvenates your body. In this busy lifestyle it is extremely important to take out some time for your family and have a nice change to day to day life. It is very relaxing to change your normal routine and do all the things you always want to do. Going places you always want to visit with your loved ones make the time stand still and gives you lot of pleasure. It can also strengthen family bonding. A holiday creates a bond of love among your family and friends and leaves a lot of sweet memories to cherish.

1. Plan in Advance.
Holidays must be planned as much earlier as it can be so that you can enjoy the facilities provided by the office and club. Make sure your family members are aware of your plan in advance. Involve everyone in the planning. Allow kids in planning and research to gather more information about holiday destination and travel planning.

2. Choose a family-friendly holiday spot.
This is very important to choose a family friendly spot but most often it is neglected. Choose some destination which your kids will like to go and is not very far or inconvenient to travel .It must be a great destination for family enjoyment.

3. Book in advance Holidays are time where everywhere there will be rush.
Book the tickets for going and coming back in advance. If possible book your resort in advance.

4. Preparation and shopping.
Write a list of items which you might need during your journey and stick somewhere like on the door one week before. Do all the required shopping in advance and pack the luggage. Always keep in mind the weather and activities you are going to give your kids in that place, like take some warm clothes if cold or take some sport wear in adventurous place.

5. Be flexible and enjoy.
There should be plan B and C if A is not working ( rooms not available in a certain resort or it is raining). So carry some travel game, card or books and donand#146;t spoil your fun. Try to spend most of the time together and enjoy.

6. Shorter trips and longer stops.
Give enough time for getting ready for kids and preparing dinner etc. Rather than leaving home in hurry leave in a fresh mood and with all the preparation in a relaxed mood. Donand#146;t rush around and be stressed. Give short breaks to a long journey and enjoy scenery and moments with your family.

7. Lots of fun around.
Give a certain degree of freedom and let your kids enjoy. Let them run around and enjoy themselves.. Do something as a part of tradition like eating ice-cream together whenever you are out.

8. Play Things.
Bring some soccer balls, tennis racquet or rods and give lot of exercise and fun to you and your children.

9. Keep memories.
Don't forget to record or take photograph to make the trip memorable.
