Barceloneta Beach

This is one of the busy beaches especially during the months of summer. Besides swimming and sun bathing, you can kite, surf and wind surf which are very popular sports here. There are plenty of beach huts here to cater for your refreshment needs. However, it is not always sunny and therefore it is important to choose the best times of the year if you are to enjoy your vacation feeling the heat of the sun on your skin. You will catch a glimpse of interesting architectural buildings here too.

To get there, you can choose to walk or catch a cab. I would recommend walking because this way, you will have beautiful views on your way there. Actually, the famous Christopher Columbus monument is along the route to the beach.

Icaria Beach

This is also a great beach for your relaxation. There are different sports to enjoy as you bathe in the sun on the sandy beach. Here you will find affordable rental apartments which are very modern to make your stay comfortable and most enjoyable.

Mar Bella Beach

Just like the name suggests, the beach is a nudist beach. There is however a bunch of people who go here. According to the laws of Spain, you can be nudist anywhere you like provided it doesn t cause any kind of disturbance. The beach has not been officially marked as a nudist beach since there should be no such thing but people here have made it look that way hence the name.

This is definitely not such a good place for kids and on deciding to go there, you should be aware of what to expect.
