The Allure of Beach Houses

If you're looking for vacation rentals then there are few better properties you can rent for a holiday than beach houses. These have many benefits over other types of property and can make any vacation into something special.

Beach houses are positioned near the beach and this is first and foremost what makes them such great vacation rentals. Of course being close to the beach means that you get to access whenever you want, and for someone who doesn't live by the sea this is one of the best ways to spend your holiday.

Here you can easily spend time building sand castles and swimming in the sea every day with no need to commute there and deal with a transport system in an area you're not familiar with (as would be the case with other hotels or vacation rentals). At the same time though if you don't want to spend all day on the beach, then you can just as easily travel elsewhere to sample something different your holiday destination has to offer.

There are more advantages than just these though and many of them you won't even have considered until you actually get to experience staying in one. For example while you might once have had to get up early to reserve sun loungers and probably pay money to use them this way you will be able to use your own chairs and blankets and whatever else from right inside your property.

Furthermore you could just as easily use one of the recliners provided but wouldn't have to get up half so early in order to get down there. In fact with beach houses you can leave your towel and then go right back to sleep until you want to use it .

Being able to use the beach during non-tourist hours has other benefits too though and means you can enjoy its serenity at night or early in the morning. Imagine how romantic and atmospheric it can be to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening on a quiet beach, or how much more fun you could have playing volleyball at 9am before there's no room to move.

Staying in such house is an experience in itself though. Of course it is normally very small but this is a great way to feel quaint and 'cozy' – particularly when you put the heating on. Even if you get bad weather then, listening to the drops of rain on the roof can be incredibly soothing.

And speaking of soothing the sound of the sea lapping against the beach as you sleep is something that most people will never have experienced and other vacation rentals that are near the beach on a road just won't get the benefit of. And none of that is even mentioning the view when you look out your window which can make the perfect backdrop to a quiet morning with a book or paper, or a perfect scene to sketch.
