Cardiff is the capital city of Wales in Britain. If you travel this town you can see that all the road signal boards are written in two languages, Welsh and English. The value to tourists is that it is a medieval castle and Victorian architecture Gothic revival mansion. In order to mimic the medieval gothic style, no expense was spared. As a result, you can see the rooms inside are full of gold, wood, marble and murals. You will have the feeling of grand and majestic. Castell CochCardiff is a place which never runs out of castles. As long as you want, you can find a castle there and be impressed by the story behind it. For Castell Coch, it is a fairytale castle built for 3rd Marquis of Bute who was the richest man in the world at that time. The castle is also known as 'Red Castle . The National History MuseumThe former name of this museum is 'The Museum of Welsh Life . This is the most visited historical site in Wales which illustrate the life and history of Welsh people. Come outside the museum, you will also be amazed by the fantastic buildings which are rescued and restored on this 100 acre land. City of sportsExcept being the commercial and political centre of Wales, Cardiff is a city of sports even in the whole Europe. Each year, it will hold a lot of high-profile local, national, and international sports events in football, rugby, golf and so on. The Millennium Stadium has become one of the most important landmarks of Cardiff, which can accommodate 74,200 people, another must see in Cardiff. Forget about all the titles varying from politics to sports, you will find this is a city of tranquility and ease. Due to its large area and less population, this is a good place for you to jog and walk on the street which you may never have a chance to do in other capital cities.
