The city of Sarajevo is regarded as one of the most vital cities in the Balkans and has had a long and rich history ever since it was founded by the Ottomans in the15th century. It was in Sarajevo where the killing of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which sparked World War I... And more recently, where the 1984 Winter Olympic Games were held. Sarajevo is a city that you'll always remember!The tour's town sights include :- The Turkish old town, known as Bascarsija- Tiny Ottoman quarters coated with sweet shops, cafs and handicraft workshops- Cultural centre of Austro-Hungarian times- An Orthodox and a Catholic church, a mosque and a synagogue inside easy walking distance of one another.The town of Split is situated in the warmest region of the north Mediterranean coast, in the centre of the Adriatic eastern coast and in the area nearby of the brooks Jadro and rnovnica that've been watering it for 1700 years. Its mild climate, with 2700 bright hours a year, makes it an oasis where, sheltered from the wind, one can enjoy the sun even in the wintertime. On the hill Marjan situated in the westernmost part of the cape, Split has a "green soul" that's nourished by its industrial, educational and business characteristics.The tour's town sights include :- sight-seeing of Split with the old city core which has developed within and around roomy Diocletian's Palace ( part of UNESCO ' World Heritage ), the most famed and well -preserved traditional monument in Croatia.- A walk through the little pretty streets covered with stone to the Cathedral of St. Domnius, originally the cenotaph of Diocletian.- a trip to the well - saved Diocletian's cellars- Finish the tour on the pretty waterfront, the symbol of this Mediterranean town, full of interesting cafs.The Humac Museum hosts one of the best collections of ancient relics, all found in the vicinity of the monastery. The oldest script ever found in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Humacka Ploca, is exhibited here.
