If you are traveling to Pittsburgh for business reasons, there are dozens of great hotels with a pool and with a gym available downtown. Be sure to take a look at some of the free art exhibits that showcase some of the art gallery collections in downtown Pittsburgh. The Wood Street Gallery is a hidden gem that contains stunning high-tech art in a low profile building directly above the T station.

Olive or Twist is one of downtown Pittsburgh's best Martini bars where you can get just about any type of Martini you choose after a long work day. Fat Head's saloon is a popular hangout for those who want to have great casual food in a lively atmosphere. This saloon has an extensive beer menu with something to please everyone.

Sports And Outdoor Recreation

There is a tremendous amount of sports history in the local area, home of the famous Pittsburgh Steelers. There are many Pittsburgh hotels with a gym within a short walking distance to Heinz stadium if you decide to watch a football game. There are also trails that run along the river where you can jog or bike that provide a beautiful view of the Skyline. If you are feeling adventurous, you may want to consider renting a Kayak and kayaking down the Three Rivers.

Shopping and Souvenirs

Be sure not to forget your friends and family back at home by purchasing a souvenir or gift from one of the many stores and shops available downtown. You can find everything from gourmet treats to jewelry within a short walking distance from your hotel.
