The aqueduct bridge is the place where the water flows at a height of about 28.5 meters over the bridge. In other words, the bridge acts as a canal to transport water from one end to the other end. This masterly engineering work has some arches which add beauty to the bridge.

History also says that this bridge suffered some damage when Moors took over the city. However, it was rebuilt in later period. This is one of the very well preserved bridges in Spain. The UNESCO has declared this building as a world heritage building.
