Ask anybody about the most beautiful place in the country of India and the answer is undoubtedly got to be Kashmir. It is said that if there is heaven on earth, it is here, in Kashmir. India's paradise is situated in the north of the country and sadly, it has been wrecked for ages by the militants. But Kashmir has not lost its charm. The tourism department of the country is trying every bit to restore the beauty and elegance to this land of houseboats and beautiful gardens, the apple orchards and stretches of hills and mountains covered with snow. Surely, Kashmir is the most beautiful place in the country of India but it is not only the beautiful place of tourist attraction in the city. The pristine and unparalleled beauty of Kashmir is complemented by the solace found in the backwaters of Kerala and terraced sloped of Munnar.Kerala is referred to as the God's own country and has beautiful landscape and water fronts. The rolling gardens of tea stretch as far as the eyes can see and they look spectacular at dawn. The climate is always cool and the air has a touch of magic in it which will cast an enchanting spell upon your nerves, bringing peace and solidarity. The land also boasts of the finest wildlife of India and the Periyar wildlife sanctuary is amongst the most visited wildlife sanctuaries in the country.Talking of wildlife and national parks, India has a rather rich collection of wildlife. There are a lot of national parks and wildlife sanctuaries in the various parts of the country. Amongst the most famous are Dudhwa National Park, Kanha National Park and Bandhawgarh National Wildlife Sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh, Ghana wildlife park, Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Rajasthan, Gir National Park in Gujarat and Jim Corbett National Park in Uttaranchal. Each of these is famous for a particular species of lion or other wild animal and people come from various parts of the country as well as world to explore these sanctuaries. The rich wildlife of India also requires mention of the great Bengal Tiger, the Asiatic Lion and the one-horned rhinoceros (found in the Kaziranga wildlife sanctuary in Assam). These sanctuaries provide shelter to the best and the rarest species of animals, birds and plants in the country, allowing them to grow up in their natural environment. The government is trying to preserve the species of the great Indian Panther, the Royal Bengal Tiger and the one-horned rhinoceros. The hunting activities of poachers and unattended care of the government and the affiliated ministry has already led to a sharp decline in their number. But the increasing awareness about their declining numbers has prompted the government to take corrective measures. The wildlife of India is an integral part of the culture of India, which is a mixed one. In fact, the culture in the northern part of the country is starkly different from that followed in the southern part.
