Andorra is nestled in between France and Spain and is one of the smallest nations anywhere in the world. It offers the best skiing found anywhere in the Pyr enees and boasts a huge number of other attractions and activities to take part in. Although it is not officially in the European Union it does use the euro currency. An interesting fact about Andorra is that it has the 4th highest life expectancy in the world - 82 years. This gives some indication as to what life is like in this beautiful part of the world.

The highest mountain is Coma Pedrosa which stands at 2,942 meters (9,652ft) although the whole area is extremely rugged. This mountainous terrain makes it an ideal skiing location. Because of its relatively high altitude there is a good amount of snow during the winters so holiday-makers can be sure of excellent conditions on their holiday. Andorra has an alpine and continental climate. In average there are 300 days of sunshine per year.
