Apart from all the above, Batam has a well developed waterfront which offers a wide range of activities. You can rent a jet ski, fly with a para glider, snorkel and dive.

Many hotels are based around the waterfront so after enjoying yourself, you don t need to go any further. The Ocarina Park offers a gamut of entertainment and activities, showcasing the Waterfront City that displays a football field, go-kart racing track, a fishing pond, a play area for kids, water and sea sports activities. Besides visiting the Melur Beach, the Mesjid Raya or Grand Mosque, the Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya, Buddhist Temple and the popular Holiday resorts on Nongsa Beach.
