Million of turists visit Spain every year. There are many reasons for the popularity of Spain including the preserved history, wonderful sites, parks, monuments and excellent climate for which it is considered as one of the top tourist destination in the world for family vacation, holidays and attraction.

1. Seville:

Seville is the capital of Andalusia and it is popular for having a variety of monuments which are built on the Moorish style of architecture. The famous monuments include Giralda, Cathedral of the city and the famous Christopher Columbus Tomb. Other worth seeing places includes Alcazar and Plaze de Espana.

2. Castilla y Leon:

This is the independent community in Spain and there are nine provinces in this community. Almost each province has a lot to see and there are many tourist attractions in these provinces. Some of the popular provinces include Leon, Segovia, Burgos, Avila and Zamora.

3. Salamanca:

Salamanca is a small town but it is marked as World Heritage place by the UNESCO. The architecture of the place is wonderful and preserved by the authorities very well. This town has a very old history and you must visit the places like Historic University, Plaza Mayor, Cathedral (old and new) and Social center. This town is famous for its historical and oldest Salamanca University in the whole Spain.

4. Avila:

This is another town in Spain which has the status of World Heritage by the UNESCO. This town is famous for the wall which was built during the 11th century. This wall has many big towers and 9 gates. The place is also famous for the variety of sites, shopping areas and food places. Avila Cathedral and the Art Museum are the must watch places in Avila.

5. Segovia:

This place is also declared as World Heritage by the UNESCO. The most popular place here is the Roman aqueduct. This was constructed 2000 years ago and 20400 numbers of stones were used in its construction. This is marvelous and well preserved monument in Segovia. Lady of Cathedral is also a wonderful and must see site in this town. This cathedral is built on the gothic design and has wonderful decoration of ornaments. There is a beautiful fortress as well in Segovia which is known as Alcazar of Segovia, this fortress is also not to be missed place in Segovia.
