Likir Monastery - This is located at the distance of the 52 kilometers and was established in eleventh century and was rededicated to the yellow sect in 15th century. The name Likir means "The Naga - Encircled". It consists of a number of shrines inside its complex. Presently, it serves as the residence of approximately 120 Buddhist monks.

Palaces in Ladakh - The palace in Ladakh is probably the most attractive function and is essentially the most visited website in Ladakh. On the sting of the Namgyal hill there may be the majestic setting of the palace. In seventeenth century it was the residence of the King Namgyal.
