Sydney is a full blown city, while Australia has probably be know for the kangaroo because of all the regions that are uninhabited land mass, in the areas that most people go to visit, you can see there are some aspects of wildlife and zoos, but most of the time you will be in a city that is full of five star hotels, dining with incredible cuisine from around the world, and nice shops. While in the cities of Australia you will not spot one kangaroo hopping along the streets.

It may be difficult to imagine a major metropolis in the center of Australia, but Sydney is one of the largest cities, if not the largest city. It is filled with wonderful sounds of the Sydney Opera House, spectacular views over the city, museums and cultural events. Sydney is a real city and although there are many different tourist attractions throughout the region, you will probably find that you want to venture into the most desolate areas of Australia around this amazing city to take in some natural wonders of the region as well.

Sydney is a beautiful city and surrounding area beaches and tropical forest land can make this vacation both anthropogenic and natural adventures. It is a wonderful blend of everything that makes a great city and everything that makes a great party in a natural surroundings. If you plan to see both sides of Sydney, then you can stay in two different hotels. One which incorporates everything about the city and then you can rent a car and stay at a bed and breakfast while you explore the great outdoors.

Australia is a great place to take a multifaceted holiday, combining the best of city life and nature within a very small region. Keep in mind that when you land in Sydney you will not be completely surrounded by Aussie kangaroos but if you want to travel a little outside of the city you will be able to get up close and personal with them.
