If you want to taste some of the best bakery items prepared in a typical European style, Majorda beach is the place to be. Varca beach is inferior to none in its unspoilt natural beauty. Calangute beach is the most popular and enjoys maximum tourist traffic. It is also the most commercial of all beaches. Water sports are available in most of the beaches. However, if a beach does not have lifeguard facility, do not go swimming in the water. Although the sea looks alluring, the Arabian sea can be dangerous at times with sudden sharp currents.
