The Bahai temple is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city and is in the shape of the lotus. There are no idols inside the Lotus Temple and people from any religion can enter the temple to offer prayer. Some other major tourist s spots include the Rashtrapati Bhawan, which is situated in the center of the city on the Raisina hills.

This elegant building consists of the famous Mughal gardens. Edwin Lutyens designed the India Gate. It was built in the memory of the brave soldiers who lost their life during the First World War. The Qutab Minar is another major tourist spot and is the tallest minaret in Delhi. It was built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak.

Delhi also offers a great shopping opportunity to the local and the international tourists. The major shopping areas include the centrally located Connaught place. The Connaught is also a major business hub. The other shopping zones are the Karol Bagh, Delhi Haat, Lajpat Nagar and many more.

There are many hotels to accommodate tourists of every type. From Five star hotels to the budget hotels, you can experience the warm hospitality of the Indian people anywhere. The major hotels in Delhi include the hotel Taj palace which offers the world class hospitality.
