Once you have decided to go on camping, you will come to know how amazing, cheap and comfortable it can be. There are a lot of campsites that offer you toilet blocks which can be used to take hot showers or even for washing clothes. You can even hire an electric hook for a small amount in order to use any electric appliances during the camping such as kettles, hairdryers or lighting etc.

It is a great fun if you take small, disposable barbecues with you which are easily available at camp shops and many supermarkets. Cooking quick meals near your tent in a pleasant calm atmosphere will be a great fun for you than spending on restaurants or cafes. There are campsites that run shops that offer you essentials like milk, bread, butter etc.

You will find campsite owners very polite, friendly and helpful and will never hesitate to provide you all sort of useful tips to make your camping experience more enjoyable and comfortable. Some offer you to hire an erected tent, equipped with necessary tools. They may include 'chalet tents which are considered as luxurious tents. You can hire them only if your budget allows you to do so. If you want to hire tents, you will have to talk to the camp owner in advance.

Not all the campsites are same. Some are small and quiet while others are large places with clubhouses, cafes, playgrounds for children and even some offer you indoor and outdoor swimming pool facilities as well. Most of the campsites are located in the beautiful countryside, i.e. from woodlands to beach sites.

Only in UK, there are many well equipped and organized campsites that offer their services at very cheap rates and you can make your holiday memorable for your kids and family.

If you are not sure about the camping site better take help from Internet. Simply search for the word camping and you will get a large number of websites containing the details for camping sites along with photographs so that you will have a better idea about the site and facilities they offer.

You have another option if your budget allows you and that is of staying in a caravan. Most of the caravan these days offers you modern facilities, from separate bedrooms and a comfortable lounge to a flushing toilets and hot showers. These caravans are cheap as you go in a group and the cost splits between you and the other group members.

If you are the one who love going on camping or caravan, it is better to get a club membership that offers you discounts on regular fee.
