Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL is all prepared to launch the 3G mobiles in selected cities of India. Pune is one of the lucky few cities which will get the first glimpse of the 3G mobiles in India. Some 2,000 customers which are regarded as andlsquo;high valueandrsquo; people by BSNL can test the features of the first 3G mobile in India. If their phones already have the technology which can access 3G features, they can note the new features of the 3G mobile.

There are three lakh customers in Pune who use the BSNL mobiles. The company has invested a huge amount of money almost 300 crores of rupees to start the Base Transmission Stations or BTS with the equipments of third generation mobiles. Down the lane the company will launch the service in all the cities of India. As for Pune, they have selected 10 spots from where customers can get signals of the new 3G mobile. Now the customers have to pay only Rs 750 for the scheme, and they can avail the services of the 3 mobile by paying the cost of 2G mobiles.

The 10 spots which are chosen include the Bajirao Road, MHS Camp, Shivaji Nagar, Satara Road, Model Colony, Chinchwad, Atur Park and some other places. If the launch is successful and the 3G service is auctioned, BSNL will provide this service to some 56 cities in Pune. All the BSNL users can make the video calls. As for the other services they are still in a position of test level. This was a statement by V.K. Mahendra who clarified that if the tests are successful, things will be smooth and the launch will be finalized according to plan.

When the 3G services will be launched commercially, it will include numerous features like online gaming, video streaming, video conferencing and even fast speed internet, and live IPTV. All these features and many more will make your 3G mobile truly technologically advanced. The new 3G mobiles will only cater to the 20% of the total customer base as much of it is on a testing level. BSNL also wants to know about the response of the customers about the new features.

As soon as the 3G mobile spectrum will be auctioned, the company will be able to determine the total cost of the services. Moreover they will also wait to see the market response. If a good number of people opt for this mobile, BSNL will be sure of its success. The price will largely depend on the auction and if the spectrum is provided at a high price, then the cost will automatically increase. Precisely for this reason the 3G services were never popular among the countries in Europe. If you want to know about the other services from BSNL, you can only trust one site which offers ample information about the telecommunication system.
