Wicked has taken on the world! United Kingdom audiences are raving about Wicked London, which premiered internationally in London on September 27, 2006. Since 2006, Wicked London has been breaking box office records. Wicked London has been tweaked a bit for the British audience, but it is still the same splendid production as the other locations. Wicked London calls The Apollo Victoria Theatre home, and has since 2006. Wicked London does not appear in danger of going homeless any time soon, however. The Story of Wicked London

Dorothy and her friends are all yesterday's news. People have been fans of Dorothy and Toto for many, many years. But there's always another side to a story. L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was originally published in 1900. Wicked London tells that untold story - the one about the other characters from the original novel - with fun and with flare. Let us all take a visit back to the Land of Oz, and discover what happened there before Dorothy triumphed over the Wicked Witch.

Wicked London is based on Gregory Maguire's highly successful novel, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch, as well as the characters created by L. Frank Baum from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Wicked London explains the relationship between the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda, the Good Witch. Prior to the new story, it was unknown that the two had both a relationship and a past. The music that brings this fabulous show to life was composed by the award-winning Stephen Schwartz.

In Wicked London, the green character Elphaba (Wicked Witch of the West) is currently played by Alexia Khadime, who most recently played 'Nala' in Disney's The Lion King. The blonde, popular Glinda is played by Dianne Pilkington. The girls met at sorcery school and have their share of misunderstandings and differences. Their friendship takes their lives on different paths and extraordinary adventures. The story follows one good witch and one 'wicked' witch. It's fun to watch and entertaining.
