If you are looking to have your cake catered and taken care of, you can also arrange for that as well. When you have your cake catered through the same company, prepare to be charged extra fees. Often times it is more cost effective to take care of the cake yourself or have a friend or family member oversee the cake details.

Wedding caterers should always be knowledgeable about the situation and be able to offer input and selections. For example, if you have a mid day wedding, a full meal will not be as necessary as if you have an evening wedding. Any caterer that tells you otherwise should be carefully looked at.

Finally, you will want to make sure you choose someone who you can relate too. In the world of the catering business, employees should be friendly and very approachable. Customer service and experience are how they survive. You want to have a company and person you feel comfortable with so it does not interfere with plans.
