Firms and establishments resort to various methods to award their most productive and illustrious employees. Some of them are rewarded with a much needed promotion, while others may be provided with a vacation package. Another company tactic to instill desire and recognize hard work is to provide employees or contributors with custom awards. These are usually presented to people who have been exceptionally illustrious in their field. Custom awards are also regularly handed out in sporting events. The award design may be unique in nature, and the award will have an engraving usually displaying a logo and a message of appreciation. This is done to appreciate the good work which has been accomplished by the honoree.

Prices range from under $50 to over $2,000, depending on the nature of the recognition event and the specific custom awards are being chosen. It all boils down to the nature of the achievement which is being recognized for the prize winner.
As mentioned earlier, watches have been one of the favorite gifts of firms worldwide, and have been commonly given away to illustrious employees on regular basis. This is usually kept in tune with the services which have been rendered by them over a period of years. Usually the name of the firm is engraved into the casing of the watch or the dial so that at a later late people may realize and ask about these custom awards. Silk screening is the process which is commonly employed for the purpose. Two to four silk screens are being used and this is primarily dependent on the nature of material used in the construction of the watch. Some of the more unique and modern custom awards are sculpture awards which are designed in a shape and form unique to the purchasing organization. These can be further customized with an etching process that can incorporate names, logos or sayings into the base of the award. Custom awards of different sorts can also be handed out to each all the members of a specific team that has made a significant accomplishment. Sometimes paper certificate awards are given away, but these are trivial and often end up tucked away in a drawer. Instead, to truly recognize a team, awards like sculpture awards and something unique and timeless.
