And if you manage to get him to go along with it, it will allow you some time to fix any overdue issues, and give the marriage another try, before the divorce process is restarted.
At each counseling session, you will be able to make him remember why he fell in love with in the first place, and how good the marriage was before trouble started. Look, many issues are bound to resurface during these sessions, but if you are sincerely willing to resolve them, he may decide to stay married.
When you successfully get your husband back and stop the divorce, just remember that he was about to leave you, so it will be easier for him to change his mind and divorce in the future if things don't work out. Having thought about divorce and almost gone through the entire process makes it easier for him to do it again.
So be aware of the state of your relationship, and perhaps continue counseling. Its easier to stop divorce temporarily and know how to get your husband back than to have a good relationship for the long term.
