Do you want to be a leader of a group or a team? To be a leader a person needs to posses some qualities of leadership. By the term leader, the images of the great national heroes come to your mind. It is not necessary that you will have to be a leader of a political party or a national hero. You can be the leader of a small group. When you are the leader of the team, you should behave as the boss of the team and order other members of the team. Your responsibility would be to guide the team in the proper manner. You should show all the members of the team, the right path through which they should proceed. When you are the leader of a small team then your responsibility is higher. You will have to take care of all the things of your team and make them work in such a manner that they can recognition in the society. You should always guide each member in such a manner that they do not get diverted from their path.

To make the members of the team work for the team, you should set the objective of the team. You should make your followers know the objectives of the team. Informing them the objectives of the team is not all. You should also tell them how they should execute the plan and achieve the target. Without proper guidance it will not be able to make them work properly. Always be friendly with the people of your team. This will make you remain popular with them and they would always follow your instructions. If you would try to dictate them then they would not be attracted toward you and your team would soon break up.

All the great national leaders have certain things in common. One of the things that the national leaders have in common is the courage to face the odds. If you want to be a leader then you should also have the courage to face the odds. You should have the mental preparation to face the odds and handle them. Someone who wants to become a leader should also have strong determination for their work. Without proper determination, it will not be possible for you to survive.

If you have all the qualities of leadership naturally then you are the best candidate to become a leader. But someone who does not have the qualities of leadership naturally can also become a leader.
