Are security cameras a great thing to have if you need to ID someone to the police? Absolutely. But do they also work great because would be thief's may seem them and think again about what they are planning. You better believe it. This is why you shouldn't hide your cameras, but make them visible to your customers. So the key to keeping thief's from stealing your merchandise? Let them know that they are being watched, both by a camera and by the human eye. It's a lot better then treating everyone like a suspect from the moment they enter your door.
