Many workplaces are breeding grounds for incredibly humiliating (but comical!) stories! Office laughs range from the blonde using tip-ex on her screen, to the new secretary who put the report in an envelope just before faxing it. After all, the doc was marked "confidential"!Then there is obviously the tale of the unhappy staff member who desired to make a photo copy of his butt and give it to his boss. one problem was that his timing was a bit off and the complete board of directors arrived in the meeting area while he was making "copy 1 of 100!" With the digital time that we live and work in, you'll be able to perform a large area of our work without ever having to leave the workplace. Conferences have been substituted with telephone and conference calls. Why should you spend hours stuck in traffic, driving from meeting to meeting if you can simply organize a telephone or conference call? Just think about how much time and energy you're saving!Letters have been substituted by electronic mails. Can you still recall the days when your only method of getting crucial paperwork from one place to another was through the postal service? First you needed to print the letter, and then purchase an envelope plus stamp before being able to send the letter off. After that you had to wait around in anticipation until the letter finally reached its destination. This can almost be compared to using a camera that still operated with a film. You had no clue what the pictures would look like, right up until you had the film developed. Exactly the same applied to posting letters - you just had no idea if the letter would be delivered in one day, a week, a month. or otherwise not at all!A fax copier is yet another example of office equipment that is making the lives of several business owners just that much more convenient! With lots of all-in-one fax copiers anyone can fax, scan and print with one appliance - saving you time, money and office space! Long gone are the days where you required a scanner to scan, a printing device to print and a separate fax machine to fax!At the same time telephones have been largely replaced (or complimented!) by mobile devices, which means that business can be done from the comfort of your house, vehicle or even while doing food shopping! And dial up modems have been (thank goodness!) replaced by high-speed broadband internet connections, enabling permanent and lightning fast online connections! The moral of the story is that no small business can be run successfully without appropriate office devices. Make sure that you purchase a top quality computer, fax copier, printing device and phone. Don't make your purchases purely on cost - choose high quality equipment that would last as long as your business does!
