So you've finally booked a slot to have a proper, old-fashioned day off; work phone switched off, no driving family to church or to yoga practice or anything, just donning the royal dressing gown and relaxing, forgetting about work until tomorrow, just taking it easy. Football and BBQ: On a good day, a long game of football in the park followed by a good barbecue is surely the pinnacle of Sunday greatness, so it's well worth piping up and being the one to get things moving. If you're the real glory-hunter type and it's likely to get competitive, keep the family back home. If not, throw in the kids and the girls and make a mass tournament out of it. After all, you can always charge the entry fee for non-official Sunday-off types to be the preparing of the barbecue stuff later.

Building a Tree House: Sometimes it's the most childish things we're in need of in order to unwind. Building a tree house ranks as one of the most satisfying and childish things that can be done, with the added bonus of having a tree house to show for it when you finish. Zorbing is basically the equivalent of racing hamsters in those plastic spheres down a slope in your garden as a child, only you're the hamster, and the sphere is a huge inflatable ball, or sometimes piece of fruit. Zorbing began in New Zealand where it's perfectly fine to start trends like this, but is now in the UK and happening with alarming regularity up and down the country. Go out and Zorb.
