One fabric that can boast of keeping itself updated with times and camouflaging with the owner s lifestyle is Jeans. A pair of Jeans was the symbolic of wild west. Jeans fabric was a sturdy material worn by hard workers like miners, rancher, farmers, railroad workers and teachers. It was then that Jeans were meant to be durable and not worn as style statement. But late 70 s and throughout 80 s saw the birth of high fashion jeans called Designer Jeans.

The Nakash brothers (Joe, Ralph, and Avi) started the trend of Designer Jeans by launching their Jordache line of jeans in 1978. Jordache manufactured their products for women only, but gradually launched a line for men which had similarity with the women s jeans. A fabric that was made popular by the cowboys during the period 1930 to 1960 ; has now become a fashion statement by the affluent class. Designer Jeans tailored for individuals to suit their style , cut and taste . Designer Jeans allows an individual to maintain their unique look and personality taste unlike the normal Jeans with which one has to compromise on fittings, jeans cut, fabric and wash. Thus, a fabric that still remains with masses yet managed to reach the classes is Jeans.

It is fabric loved by all age group and has passed from generation to generation molding itself with the style of the times. Jeans that was synonymous with comfort and durability but now fittings and perfect cut has become an essential element too. One can find a jeans that look great but may have to compromise on shapes and vice versa can also be true. But designer jeans gives a chance to get both, so now one needn t spend too much time in the dressing room.

But unlike the best things available to man without any cost (like sunshine, air and water) it comes at a price which may burn an average person s pocket. In these harsh monetary times when cut cutting (both in positive and negative terms) has become a necessity amongst youngsters; fashion freaks have to shed minimum $200 for a pair of designer jeans. Some say jeans aren t shoes(which means wrong ones will give shoe bite), so why pay such a exorbitant price for a pair of jeans? But others will say take one look at those blue pair of casual yet chic garment and say you don t want them. Desgner is no doubt one of the most aspired clothing.
