Men's clothing this year has a few changes, but in general, the designs build on previous classics. There are features that carry across the entire line. They include natural colors, organic materials and of course, the Folk logo.

The standard Folk shirt has a bucket-shaped breast pocket including its loop fastening. It comes in colors of oatmeal and navy stripe, the logo is at the base of the placket fold. Additional details is done at the neckline and at the collar tab. The Grandad collar standard shirt is another classic which reflects the attention to detail.

Natural fibers are used in many of the garments. For example, the standard shirts and the Grandad collar shirts are 100 percent cotton. The Folk Sails Tee is combed cotton jersey, as is the Tri Colour Oatmeal. Cotton is known for its breathable qualities so it's perfect for warm weather wear. You can look great no matter how warm it is outside.

Perma cotton provides the same qualities as standard cotton in terms of comfort, but adds a finish that helps to prevent wrinkling to which cotton is prone. The Folk Stripe in navy with a cotton underarm is an example of comfort and looks. Another unique feature to this shirt is the thumb holes included in the extra high pointelle cuffs.

A dark navy waffle knit crew neck features a fitted design with jersey triangle patches at the elbows.

Another alternative fabric to cotton is merino wool. When this is used the garment is wonderful for trapping warmth in cold winter months. The wool is soft to the touch as well. The scarlet AZ technical jumper with the crew neckline features an Aztec-inspired stripe down the center of the back and an inspired base color.

The navy AZ technical cardigan is also available in navy with natural domed corozo nut buttons. It features an asymmetrical pattern on the placket that is a redesign of the Folk squares.

Jeans might be rinsed denim such as that found in the Edwin and Folk collaboration which has the Edwin fit plus typically Folk features. The Braille zip and the Aztechnical pocket lining design are part of this construction. Both brands have insignia that are found at the waistband, rivets and buttons. The vintage wash jeans are similar in style, with only the different look to the denim.

Another unique fabric is found in the Folk mauve check raglan shirt. A Japanese cloth with linen, cotton and ramie in the construction is the basis of the fabric. Ramie is a plant fiber found in Asia known as Chinese grass. The fiber is durable and tough, yet lustrous.

When you buy Folk clothing you are doing your part to be environmentally friendly. At the same time, you can be wearing comfortable clothing at the height of fashion.
