An Important Ticket To The Movies

People get all kinds of important tickets that they have to pay back. You could get parking tickets, speeding tickets, and any kinds of tickets involving your car. For example, you could get tickets for not having your registration, for not having your drivers license, and for not having your tag up to date. Their are tons of tickets that people have to pay back. If the world was perfect, then the police officers would be out of a job.

You may be lucky enough to have daughters that will tell you exactly what they're up to word for word. They may even tell you that the concert is not in this area. That's when their mom might stop you right there and says no so you wouldn't be wasting your time going any further with this conversation. Maybe if you start doing things around the house maybe then you will get your own way. This is when you would start to think that the impossible could happen eventually.

Since you may have been thinking of any excuse out of the book to get out of being grounded so you can go hang out at a friends house or go to a party, your parents are not going to believe you that you have to go to the movies for a homework assignment. However, they might believe you if you show them the paper you brought home from school

Usually when you hear your teenage daughter asking if she can go to a concert out of town, then you may feel that she thinks their's a lecture going to go on and she would be right. In situations like these, parents think of the worst possible situation that could happen to her. She could get mugged in an alley, or she could even get killed. It's a parents job to protect their children no matter how much they're going to hate them for it later.

They may not trust you to go to the movies alone because with your history lately they may be afraid that you won't come straight home from the movies and they may offer to take you and go see it with you. Especially teenagers get so embarrassed when they arrive at the movies with their mom and all of their friends are there to see them.

Some parents may have read the due date on the paper and let them know they will be able to go next week and still have plenty of time to work on it before it's due. That may be a little harsh. What you might want to do is release your grounding so you can go to the movies to do your homework assignment and they will put you on an extra day of grounding to make up for the day you went to the movies. That way if they choose to disobey you and go somewhere else after the movies, then you might want to give them a couple extra days of grounding.

Parents can ground teenagers even though they may feel like they're too old, but they should expect it the way they're sneaking off with an important ticket to see a concert.
