For those who do not know what a deep-link is, you must first realize that there are as many beliefs on what makes a deep-link as there are webmasters online today. Some people insist that you only link to the site's index or landing page. Others will allow you to link to any page found directly in the site's root directory, while others will consider a deep-link as a link to any page which does not exist immediately in the site's root.

Links are so important to any website with regards to ranking well in the search engine results. Back in the olden days of the internet, all that mattered was having more links then the competition. However, much has changed and this process of link-farming is considered to be a no-no. Today your links have to come from relevant content sites.

The reason that more and more webmasters are choosing article marketing is clear. You are in charge of the content that links to your website which means you can be assured that the link will be counted towards your site s page rank. More webmasters today are finding that this form of internet marketing offers some of the best possible benefits.
