Artificial grass and artificial turf are basically substitutes for real grass that have many benefits over it and are widely used in sports and in commercial or industrial settings. There are countless reasons to get artificial grass which we shall address here.

This can be particularly useful for commercial areas and has a range of marketing and design applications.

It also has the advantage, of course, requiring far less maintenance. The substance is normally made from a bouncy material meaning that it can maintain its shape even when it has been walked on repeatedly. This means that there is no need for restrictive seeming 'keep off the grass signs' and means that you won't have flat trampelled on areas of grass as a result. At the same time it will of course not grow and this means that you don't need to pay someone to constantly mow the lawn and you will also never need to deal with overgrown grass which can look unprofessional and unkempt.

It does not require watering and this means that you can keep it indoors and in other places that are perhaps unsuitable for keeping large amounts of water. It also saves yet another job that would require a gardener or take time out of your other daily tasks. Despite this it remains completely green and looks far more vibrant than real grass all year round.

This means that it looks better with less work and that it reflects better on your company or on your home. It also can't get too wet meaning that it won't become water logged and muddy during lots of rain. You can keep it by the side of a pool etc where it may otherwise be drowned by the high amounts of water.

Some artificial turf also allows for the integration of optic fibres. This is excellent from a marketing perspective and for elaborate and eye catching designs and displays as you can light up in the dark forming a sort of message etc. You can also very precisely design the layout of the grass so that you can use it to form letters without worrying about it growing outside the edges.
