Applique Embroidery Designs

Add Your Picture Talking about or describing, an applique embroidery design it is a smaller decoration piece or device applied on top of the surface or the fabric or one can say that an appliqué is a separate piece of terracotta added to the principal work, generally for the purpose of decoration. Applique is the French word in the background it means that has been applied.

Needlework or darning applique has been referred as the needle work in which pieces of fabrics, embroidery or any other material are sewn or assembled into another piece of fabric to create designs, patterns or pictures. It is appropriate for work which is to be seen from far way such as banners. One of the famous example of applique is Hastings Embroidery.

There are different types of Appliques Embroidery Designs

Functional pieces usually have their corners folded under and are attached by any of the following.

Straight Stitch: typically 2-3mm in from the corners

Satin Stitch : These are all around overlapping the corners. The patch can be fix with the gum or straight stitched on first to ensure positional steadiness and the neat edge and finishing .

Reverse Appliqués it is made of few pieces of the fabric and a random design put on it and layers can be cut away.

Modern customer embroidery machine quickly sew up appliqué followed by a program. The program's intricacy is of two threads colors minimum meaning the machine hangs or stops during stitching to allow the user to switch threads. First the fabric will be put in the background and after that appliqué cloth are fixed into the machine's embroidery loop.

The program is then run and the machine makes a loose needlework stitch over on both the layers of fabric and the machine halts to change the thread or any other program me is there it breaks .The user then cuts away the surplus applique fabric from the loose needle work. Then the continuously program is followed by the machine and satin stitches or any other decorative stitches are sewn by the machine.

Since prehistoric times garments for ladies or any other cloth items such as bed sheets, pillow cover, caps are being decorated or designed with floral patterns sometimes it is designed for men's clothing also. Floral patterns can be designed in the different shapes sizes and colors.

Designs like flowers on fences, flowers with candles, flowers with butterflies, flowers with maidens, floral angles, etc are put in an unlimited number.

Many cricket clubs also sometimes have such floral patterns designs as their symbol and these floral designs can be seen on their caps or T-shirt.
