1) Be careful with fad diets and exercise programs. Just because they worked for one person, does not mean they will work for the rest of the world. 2) Stay away from programs which are specifically developed for men. I know, this seems like a sexist statement, and do not take it the wrong way, but women s physiology is not the same as men s. You cannot perform a work out routine designed for men and expect it to work for women unless you want to end up with a manly build.
3) Focus on eating healthy. This does not require any form of special diet or special foods. Simply eating healthy means stop eating one or two meals a day and instead split it up into 6 or more micro meals every day. Each meal should have a little from every food group so your get a well-balanced meal; but never eat large meals.
4) Stand up and do something. If you work in an office, do not take the elevator, show up in shoes, walk up the stairs to your floor and change your shoes at your desk. If you are watching your favorite television show, do not sit down and watch it; stand up and do something active while watching the show. All of these little things burn calories and helps you to loose weight.
5) Do not over do it. You will hear this time and time again and it is important. Instead of focusing on a long and almost impossible workout routine every day, look at the things you do every day and what you can do to make them more active. If you over do it, you may become sick or too weak to go on and this can slow down your weight loss progress.
