With this recipe you will need several ingredients including:1 cup dry Bulgur wheat1 1/2 a cup of boiling water1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice1/2 teaspoon dried mint1 heaping teaspoon crushed fresh garlic, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt and a 1/4 cup of olive oil. You will also need: fresh black pepper, 1 chopped green pepper, 1/2 cup cooked chick peas, 1 cup fresh chopped parsley, 2 medium diced tomatoes, 1 chopped cucumber, 1/2 cup of chopped scallions including the green parts as well as 1/2 cup coarsely grated carrot. After collecting all these ingredients you should start with the several steps of preparing bulgur wheat. You should start with mixing the bulgur wheat, salt as well as the boiling water in a large bowl. Follow this by covering the bowl as well as the wheat soak for approx 20 minutes. This should then be followed by adding olive oil, mint, lemon juice as well as garlic.
