Pawleys Island is a small barrier island located just off the coast of South Carolina along the Atlantic ocean. The area offers a laid back lifestyle with plenty of things to do. This beautiful area lacks the commercialism of most coastal areas, which allows for a more private and peaceful setting. The entire east coast of the island has sandy beaches on which to play and it's only a short drive to the famous Myrtle beach area.

There are also plenty of specialty shops on the island and nationally known stores aren't far away. Pawleys Island will keep you busy if you enjoy a fast paced lifestyle or will provide a relaxing getaway atmosphere if that is your preference.
