There are different ways in which you can claim for reimbursement. In the first case, you will have to pay for all the expenses. You will then have to produce the receipts to the insurance company that will reimburse the money to you. Another simpler method is to opt for a cashless scheme. For the cashless scheme, you will have to get an approval from the insurance company before you are hospitalized. The hospitalization charges will be borne completely by the insurance company. It has to be noted that under all these schemes, though a major part of the charges are taken care of by the insurance company, nearly 20% of the charges will have to be borne by you.

On the whole, it is a wise decision to opt for a Healthcare scheme to feel assured about your future.
