Dachshunds love to play and easily get attached to their families, whom they show great loyalty to. • Have fun with your Dachshund – appeal to their fun loving nature, training does not need to be like a military exercise all the time. The point of the training is also to have quality time with your pet, remember that dachshunds are very affectionate animals.

If all else fails, do not hesitate to get help by enrolling your dachshund on an obedience class in a qualified dog training school. It may seem a bit costly, but can be beneficial in the long run.
