Changing your name is a big decision. We have often seen people that change their birth name or change their names after divorce and stick to their name that was before their marriage. For example, people might want to change their name because someone in their industry has the same name but has a bad reputation and it might cause an adverse effect on their business. It is also wise to avoid a frivolous name change, so better to be cautious.
Some people do possess a name that is difficult to spell or pronounce. They actually think hard before telling their name to anyone. Whaaat?, How do you spell it? Can you repeat it again? are the questions that people begin to ask.
Some people often change their name because they want a shorter or trendy name. Artists, actors, poets, writers are the people who are known by their names so they want a name that should reflect their personality and for this reason they prefer to change their names.
