When we come to think of this critically, the fact that people are economically independent in American and European countries plays an important role in the causes of divorces. When people donandrsquo;t have to depend on anyone for anything, they usually take their own way, sometimes regardless of how serious their current relationship is. In the backdrop of this, I would like to tell you what the basic causes of divorce are. Divorces are caused due to a varied number of reasons which may be personal, social, economical etc.

But whatever the reasons are, there are certain common emotions that a huge hand in reaching the ultimate stage of filing a divorce lawsuit. To reach this stage, more than often, the couple would have gone through a very rough patch. You probably already know what causes of divorce are since divorces donandrsquo;t seem so alien. The first and the most common cause for divorce is the inability of the couple to communicate between themselves. More than often, we hear about couples breaking due to very silly reasons like unable to deal with the spouseandrsquo;s snoring, or not being able to withstand the body odor of the partner etc. These happen due to the above-mentioned cause. One more very common cause of divorce is infidelity. It can be observed that most people have zero tolerance to this.

Sometimes the causes of divorce are so severe that it is best to discontinue with the relationship. For example, it is best for a wife to file a divorce if her husband abuses her physically or has a chronic addiction to alcohol or drugs. It is not advisable to make compromises regarding such cases, as there is no guarantee that the abuse will stop.

It should be kept in mind while making a compromise that both parties are beneficial through it and can lead quite a happy life together. If this is not the case, then any number of compromises will yield no result.
