Staying outdoors is a great way of enjoying yourself but not if there are pests lurking. That surely takes away the fun. Ultrasonic devices, electronic yard fences and strobe lights - these are the technology at present that helps us eradicate these annoying pests in a safer way. No need to worry of getting caught in your own trap, or being poisoned by the pesticide or chemical that you placed because there is no more use for that now. Kids and old people alike can freely go around the garden because it is safe, and likewise animals that do not create trouble can also visit the garden. No one gets hurt when these products are used, even the animals that are not welcome is kept away in a safe and kind manner with the use of these products. A high frequency sound or vibration is emitted from these ultrasonic devices that stings the animal's ears thus keeps them from moving near. A friend of mine totally abhors the squirrels in her garden. Not only did they destroyed her garden, they also destroyed parts of the house including the chairs that were on the deck. They ate the coverings of the chairs. So, she bought an ultrasonic gadget and it was perfect! Today, she is contented and its obvious the squirrels lived to haunt another house.Gophers and moles can do significant damage to your yard, shrubberies and plants. Not only do they destroy your lawn, but the mounds and surface tunnels create hazards related to tripping or twisting an ankle. Because their home is situated below the ground, what they usually do is burrow their way up making an aeration tube for them to use. The problem is they do it in your well-cared yard. They can literally create tunnels several miles long and two to five feet deep! Digging is in their nature and they can have 12 babies the most in a brood. They only eat what they can expend, so you won't see them lying dormant because they do not have fat in their bodies. Around forty pounds of food is eaten by a mole in a year. It's their way of life -dig, eat, dig eat. Plants need worms to ventilate the soil for their development. Now, moles hinder these developments by eating the worms. Gophers consume on roots and plant matter. The surface tunnels made by moles are usually twisted while tunnels made by gophers, which they seldom do, are linear. Moles create mounds that is similar to a volcano, but only in minute size. The gopher's mound on the other hand forms like a kidney bean. These tiny rodents live beneath the ground on healthy, verdant lawns. Gophers and moles chew on roots of trees, grains, grasses, shrubs and a variety of vegetables. They like lilies, irises, tulips, carrots, peas, and beans. Even though moles feed mostly on grubs, worms and insects, they also feed on plant materials. Plant materials that are soft and moist are what gophers like to eat. Do you know that gophers, moles, voles, chipmunks and woodchucks are highly intellectual beings? They know how to stay away from getting caught by traps, by ignoring baits and from being poisoned. It's plain to see that you have a gopher or mole in your backyard by how your garden looks like - full of mounds and tunnels and a lot of damage. I am a lover of life. I cannot kill. The spiders at home, I transfer them outside, the snakes in the garden, I put them near the lake (Yes I know, I am one of THOSE persons.) Thus, I suggest you go now and purchase an ultrasonic device at the store. It's much safer and all life is protected.
