If you've been thinking of getting new training to start pursuing a new career then maybe landscape architect training is for you. With landscape architect training you will be learning a skill that is fun to do as a living that allows you to be creative while at the same time letting you be physical. If you have ever worried about sitting in an office all day looking at a computer screen then fear not – being a landscape gardener might just be for you.

Furthermore this is a job that is good for you. You will be spending a lot of time outside in the garden and that will mean that you get a lot of sun and a nice tan, while at the same time you will be doing a lot of energetic work which will help to build muscle definition.

Landscape architect training is a fantastic course to go on that will stand you permanently in good stead. If you do landscape architect training then you will have a skill that is in huge demand all around the world. Almost everyone has a garden and businesses have them too. This then means that if you want to work this is something you can always fall back on, and even if you move country you'll always be able to find jobs.

Furthermore there are various ways you can be a landscape gardener. You can for instance set up your own company and go freelance as a sole trader which will give you a lot of freedom and autonomy – you work when you want to work and you fit it around your lifestyle. Alternatively you could find work for a business – either a company that provides garden renovations, a garden center, or a property as the regular gardener.

You can be just a gardener and mow lawns and weed, or you can design spectacular plans for business roof terraces. Of course you could also set up your own business and choose to expand that to employ lots of individuals and you will find that this is a very lucrative industry that's also easy to break into. Ask around your friends and family to find work and you'll almost always be able to find some kind of work.

You'll also learn a huge amount about a lot of things and a lot of this will be transferable allowing you to go on to do other things should you wish. You will learn for instance a lot about horticulture. You'll learn about irrigation, and you'll learn about organic gardening – how to plant plants next to each other and keep them together, and also about grouting and how to put grout around your garden tiles.

On top of all this you'll also be learning the design aspect and this is something that could later land you work in interior design or other architecture. It's such a diverse process that you can walk into a huge number of rewarding and high paying jobs.
