When the design is finished, dampened sand is poured between each stone to keep them in place. This creates a hard, flexible surface which is much more practical. This method allows you to replace stones in a simple manner.

Make sure that the contractor you hire to do your paving is an authorized installer that knows all of the state requirements for installment. He should, also, know the guidelines and recommendations for installing the stones correctly.
