Therefore, it is best to move the hobby stuff, which is hardly used, to the self storage warehouse. Since you are downsizing your home, it is most likely that all your furniture items would not fit into your new home.

If you are keen on retaining all those items, you should store some of them in a unit instead of congesting your new home with extra furniture.

If you have more vehicles than that can fit into your garage, you should keep vehicles that you do not use daily in a car storage. It is useful for parking motorbikes, bicycles, sports car, and recreational vehicles.

There is no need to discard all the extra stuff while downsizing your home. You might move to a bigger home in near future. Till then, you could use a self storage warehouse for the safe storing of your belongings.
