Inspired from the Rue de Rivoli in Paris, there is The Liston in Corfu Town which is based on a line of houses and should be seen. There are also cafes and restaurants close to it that offer great food and a leisure time.
If you are still interested in the past of the island, you can have a look at the Archaeological Museum of Corfu where you would see a limestone sculpture of the lion of Menekrate. This sculpture is over twenty five hundred years old and is one of its types.
