Although a Bachelor's degree is typically considered the entry-level educational requirement for human resources jobs, many people complete an Associate's degree in this field and are able to find jobs in their field. Usually, people who have an Associate's degree in human resources receive the jobs in clerical departments. They are often responsible for interviewing, hiring, and compensation for other employees.

Also, many people who receive an Associate's degree in human resources are able to work as a human resources assistant, which enables them to receive higher-level training and work their way up in the company. This is a great way to get a promotion and receive higher pay without spending more time in college. Experience is obtained on-the-job over a period of time, and many people receive their promotions in this way.
