Many wannabe pageant winners train and study this section for months on end, just to master this round to impress the judges and score highly.

You want to come across as relaxed and confident, not a complete bag of nerves, and end up messing up completely! The more you practice, the more confident you will be in this round, and you'll be able to focus entirely on what the judges are saying, rather than being completely nervous about how you're going to make an answer up. The more confident you are, the more likely the judges will score highly. Some types will be straight forward answers, whilst some will be quite deep and philosophical questions, where there isn't necessarily a right or wrong answer.

A very popular type of question the judges can ask, are the whys type of question. Not only do you have to think outside the box for this, but you must justify your answer clearly on why you feel that way. For example: Do you think the US should pull out of the Iraq war and why?
