But if you utilized your stenographer training in the bigger cities you can expect up towards $100,000 per year. But that is not all.
What you typically see of court stenographers is that they also make extra money acting as notary publics. This comes in very handy in the legal world as it allows you to administer oaths to witnesses and certify the validity of all sorts of documents. Furthermore, often times you will be asked to transcribe the conversations had during depositions for trial. And these are just a few of the activities you can look forward to while working as a stenographer. However, when you have finished with your court stenography training you will find that many more doors will also be opened up to you.
