If you are installing the memory chip in your digital camera and a poor quality or a fake memory chip can end up loosing all your photos taken during the vacation, there is nothing that bring back that time and those pictures and hence the loss to you cannot be calculated in terms of money. Thus, the need to be careful and finding a good deal, but never at the cost of compromising the quality of the chip you wish to buy.

The technology in memory chips has been changing faster than the speed of light recently and you can well make use of this when making your purchases. When a new product with a new technology is launched in the market, it is automatically considered that the older one is end of life and would soon run out of demand.

This, however, might not be very true in the case of memory chips as even though the technology of the chips is changing fast but the gadget you already own with run of the exiting technology until you decide to change the gadget as well. Hence, an opportunity to make a good deal.
